BI Nordic has established this Privacy Policy because your privacy is important to us.
When you provide us with personal information your expectations are it will be kept confidential. Any personal information provided to us will be used to improve our products and services.
This document describes the BI Nordic data protection policy, meaning how personal data is collected, stored, processed, archived and removed. Please read our Privacy Policy, since this applies to anyone who uses the BI Nordic Product Portfolio. We may need to revise our Privacy Policy at times, and we suggest that you revisit this page frequently to review the most current Privacy Policy.

Data Collection – Information we Collect and Store Personal Data we Collect
Through your interaction with the BI Nordic website or use of our products, we may collect business relevant Personal Data (meaning information that identifies an individual or relates to an identifiable individual). BI Nordic strive to practice data minimization, meaning to collect ONLY relevant personal data. BI Nordic do not collect special category data such as information regarding health, race, politics, religion etc.

Information you Provide
When you purchase a product, we provide you with a product license or other authorization mechanism to access to the purchased product. The personal and secure login details will make sure that you, and only you, can access the data provided by you. Any other simultaneous customer of BI Nordic will not be able to view your data, in the same way you will not be able to see theirs. The personal and secure authorization
mechanisms are also used to provide you with the support services associated with your level of purchase.
For a future customer that would like to trial our products and services, we will ask you to go through our registration process where we need your consent to collect Personal data (your Name, Company and email -address). The collected information will then be used to validate you and grant you access to the products and services you will be testing.

Anonymous/Non-Personal Data
Any person, can at any time, visit the BI Nordic website without sharing any personal information with us. Our website is hosted by one.com, and any information collected by them (such as the technical data, location data, date and time of access etc) is for them to be able to present statistics about our visitors. Please visit their website to find out more about their ways of working with GDPR. This kind of collected data is anonymous and can not be directly connected to an individual.

Information Associated With your Company
Any information regarding to your purchase (such as company name, organisational number, billing information etc) is stored only in our web-based accounting system (Fortnox), however BI Nordic does not

Data Processing – How the Data is being used
BI Nordic may use Personal Data in any of the following ways:

The BI Nordic desktop and mobile applications does collect anonymous information about your use of the application to facilitate in planning future improvements. Such information includes technical information about your device, which features you are using etc.

We may use your Personal Data to grant access and/or generate licenses for you to access and run your purchased products, services and in other way fulfil the contract between our two companies. We may use Personal Data to contact you to follow up on service and support requests that you have initiated or to provide services that you request.
We may contact you from time to time to inform you about changes in our services, including new product and product version announcements.

Should you start a trial with our software, we may contact you for a limited period to communicate with you on the progress of your trial or to provide you with product education material. We might host webinars and other events that may be of interest to our community, and we may contact you about such events if we feel they may be of interest to you.

Storage of Personal Data
When processing data, BI Nordic also stores data on servers located in Sweden. Your Personal Data may therefore be transferred to, using appropriate security protocols, processed and stored in a country different from your country of residence, and be subject to privacy laws that are different from those in your country of residence. The Personal Data that we store is not highly sensitive and is required to conduct normal and expected business practices. Specifically, Personal Data, as described in this policy, is stored on Sweden-based data servers or in Cloud Storage Services managed by Azure. We and all third-party companies with which we engage with have committed to complying with the 2018 EU GDPR privacy regulation for EU residents.

Marketing Communication
You will receive product and services information and general marketing material as a customer or interested party of BI Nordic’s products and services. BI Nordic is not using newsletters this type of information will be send directly from BI Nordic sales responsible. If you don’t want BI Nordic to send you e-mail regarding BI Nordic products, services, or special offers, you may just reply and tell us to stop send it at any time. 

Lawful Basis for Processing Personal Data
When processing your Personal Data, we rely on the legal basis of Legitimate Interest. BI Nordic only collect Personal Data that is necessary for maintaining data security, improving our products and services and to improve the customer relationship. BI Nordic will not share the collected personal information with any other organization or company.

Data Security – we take care of your Personal Data
Your Personal Data is held on limited access servers at BI Nordic and third-party providers (One and Office IT Partner). We take reasonable steps to protect the Personal Data provided to us from unauthorized access
and disclosure.

As a user of our products, you may provide our applications or services with access to your data (including files and Personal Data), either locally on a device or remotely on servers. Where our applications access your Personal Data, we do so only for providing the purchased service. Our applications may store your data locally on your device, for improving the performance of the application. Your data is being stored in a secure way.
If you choose to use our support services, you may post information to more fully describe a problem. Such information may include files containing Personal Data or programs. We keep such information secure and do not share it with anyone, and as soon as the support case is solved, the related data will be deleted.

Sharing of collected Personal Data
BI Nordic will not use or disclose Personal Data to third parties except:
to our authorized Sub-processors as necessary to provide services or products you have requested in other ways described in this privacy policy or to which you have otherwise consented in the aggregate with other information in such a way so that your identity cannot reasonably be determined (for example, statistical compilations)
as required by law, for example, in response to a subpoena or search warrant
as necessary to protect the rights, safety, or property of BI Nordic, its users, or others. This may include (for example) exchanging information with other organizations for fraud protection and/or risk reduction, as necessary to enforce the Terms of Service.

Retention and Deletion of Personal Data
BI Nordic will retain your Personal Data for as long as your account is active to provide you products or services. If/when the customer relationship between you and BI Nordic ends, the contact information will be stored for maximum 1 year (unless active support contracts requires the information for longer than that).

Control & Access to Personal Information
As a customer or partner to BI Nordic (data subjects), you have the right to view a copy of the personal data that might have been collected about you. You are also free to request that incorrect or incomplete data is corrected and/or completed. At any time, you have the right to object to personal data being used for direct
marketing.

Upon request, BI Nordic will delete your Personal Data to ensure that your identity cannot be reconstructed or read. A deletion request may not result in the complete deletion of your data. Purchase information will be maintained for legal and financial audit purposes. If you wish to remove your Personal Data, please
